Who loves the Harry Potter movies must not miss out this "juicy?" news. Who would know, how much our little Harry had grown up over the years. As I posting these pictures on my blog, I can't help the thought that my blog are turning into teen porn stuff! I mean.. look at those pictures... it is beautiful and all but he's only 17! not even legal to drive a car! There's even a picture of his full back in Ricky Org. website!! how daring yeah? hehehe...

I never heard of this movies Equus until today. And by judging from the promotional pictures here, I don't think it will be air in Malaysia. Thats probably why I never seen and heard of it before... or, its just me... living under the stone.
Wow... I really am outdated. Just found a news about this, and it was dated July 28, 2006! Well, I hope I'm not the only one... coz I just read about it in theStar paper today. Oh well, I haven't even read a book this year! No wonder I feel soo stupid and dull.

Equus is a 1977 film by Sidney Lumet. Peter Shaffer wrote the screenplay based on his play Equus.
A psychiatrist, Martin Dysart (played by Richard Burton), investigates the savage blinding of six horses with a metal spike in a stable in Hampshire, England. The atrocity was committed by an unassuming seventeen-year-old stable boy named Alan Strang, played by Peter Firth, the only son of an opinionated but inwardly-timid father and a genteel, religious mother. As Dysart exposes the truths behind the boy's demons, he finds himself face-to-face with his own.
The film also featured Eileen Atkins, Colin Blakely, Joan Plowright and Jenny Agutter.
Unlike the play, the film version was placed in a realistic setting, using real horses. Some critics and theatre purists found this objectionable, arguing that the spirit of the stage play was lost in the movie. Nonetheless, the movie was nominated for several Academy Awards: Best Actor in a Leading Role (Richard Burton), Best Actor in a Supporting Role (Peter Firth), and Best Writing, Screenplay Based on Material from Another Medium.

who's Michael?... I'm was contemplating myself when I posting these pictures.. but, Harry quoted himself that.. He's proud of it! so.. why not?
No reason not to! Post more if you have them. I have seen both the play and the films many times, they are very different in their "spirit" but the film is of no less value for using real horses! I assure you!

Do not let me mislead you! I saw the movie when it was new and several times since. I have seen the play several times but not this most recent incarnation!
