I had a major wind bubling up in my stomach. regardsless the tummy massage that the messeur gave me, its only for awhile. After that... its back again. I do not know what to do... everytime I start to put in food, my tummy start to rumble, I'll be burbping non stop!... and I will be sweating as if its really hot. God... please help. I don't think it will be a pleasent journey back today if I still have this wind in my stomach. Its 10.30am now. We will be leaving Patong beach at 1pm... my buddy is out to shop for survinior, and I cant follow him. I'm afraid I'll pass out in the middle of Patong beach... hahaha. Its like my body is outo responding for leave this beatiful place! yeah right! ...

ok.. back to my room now.. lying down abit and resting.. hoping this stupid wind will just go away, and give me a peace of mind.

Aww... the hotel staff here are soo sweet. They noticed that I'm sweating like hell.. they turn on the fan! Isn't that nice? Kap kun Kap!

Blogging in Phi Phi Island

Happy Sunday!!

Its really beautiful morning here in Phi Phi Island. The weather is really nice and hope its stay like this till afternoon, We're about to jalan2 in Long Island, a walking distance from here. According to Ian, its quite an adventures path...

Yesterday, we took a boat/cruise trip to the Maya beach where they make the movie "The Beach".. the view from the beach is axactly I remember from the movie. But it was raining when we were there. We had to use a very narrow and dangerous tunnel on the shore to get to the Mya Beach, which is on the other side. Its freaking beautiful!! the Island and the beach and the Sea here is sooo breathtakingly beautiful! Don't know any place could be more beautiful these places. My first experience snorkeling? hahahaha... isn't as great as I thought. I think, I was a bit panic, when the sea water start to get inside of my mask, and the breathing techique thru the mought is a bit difficult! I drank quite a lot of salty water... very tasty.. yeah right.

Well, I figured, snorkeling is my kind of thing! hahaha.. but before I got paniced and given up on snorkeling, I did see colorful fish and coral underneath.. Its really beautiful. How I wish I can watch them more longer... maybe a bit of practise will do the trick. What can I say? Its my first time la... hehehe

Anyway, I also figured that I love canoeing!.. althought I did fall (once I must say) from the caneo, its pretty hard to get back on top of it. With great afford, I manage to climb back in. Bravo to me! hehehe. And manuevering the caneo is a bit tricky too... you paddle to the left, the caneo will shift to the right... sort of like that. Its fun!!... I can see the carol sea from the caneo! scary and beautiful. Its beautiful and at the same time scary, coz I know some are deadly dangerous...better left them alone.

Oh yes, I found the Thai Manggo sticky rice! nyum nyum! and yesterday, I had lobster for dinner, which is cost at 1000 baht! Thanks for te Dinner TZ! today, Ian suggested to have dinner togather for our last night here. How sweet huh? Its more fun to have friend in this stanger Island... Its feels like a relief once you see a familiar face when you're far away from home.

Hey for more pictures... look at my travelling buddy blog TZ! its nearly 12 noon now, we better make a move or we wont be going anywhere at all!

3 hrs b4 Phi Phi Island

Sawadikap! and Good morning to all!

Its 10.11am here now. 3 hours before we heading to Phi Phi Island. From the tourist and local around here, its a very nice and beautiful place. Can't wait to be there.

Yesterday, something really bug me. As TZ and another 2 guys (Ian and Richard who is an Iris tourist) decide to check out the shows around here, the paradise complex area. Where the drag queen performing a lip singing dancing. Its was quite "interesting". But the only thing that really bug me.. or as Ian put it "traumatize" because a Thai girl (I think she is 100% a girl ;p) was trying to be the center of our attention. You know, instead of watching the show on stage... she "dance" in front of us like no body business... and She tried to touch my crouch a couple of times!! thats why Ian said its traumatizing! hahaha... Its really annoy me! She called you by touching your body.. than simply makes stupid jokes of you.. she is seriously looking for trouble. I just wanted to*)_&(*^*%&^$^%#$^&%(*&^)(*&%^*&%$*&^%(*!!!!!!!

Anyway, other than that.. the show was entertaining. I was looking forward to eat the Thai foods around here. Instead, you'll find western food on the menu. I asked one of the waiter last night when we had our dinner for a Thai sticky rice with mango.. but he said.. "they no have" and said they sell those in the market bazaar something. Mango is not seasonal fruit right? I was thinking it was the mango off season something like that. hahaha... will keep looking. My buddy here aren't dare to eat the Thai street foods. I was hoping to find the grasshopper BBQ .. but so far, ain't found any yet... Anyway, my buddy already make a great plan for snorkeling on Saturday. Probably somewhere where they filmed the BEACH movie. Ian seem to know lots about the place.. and given us pretty good advice on what do and don't or anything about this place.

Well, besides Ian and Richard, we meet 3 Argentinian guys, an Aussie family, a Chinese couple from China, and.. well thats about it.. there were lots of tourist here... According to the local, this is the time where many tourist are come from China. And here I am.. being a tourist myself.. geez thats doesn't sound quite like myself.. hahaha. I'm used to be the local one... now paying tips to the masseur or the guy who maneuver our canoe feels like... I have lots of money to give out for tips. Hahahaha... me so poor lah my friend!

And one more thing.. when you're on holiday.. stay away from the working life topic k. hahaha.. Thank God Richard seem to have the same opinion! Once Ian and TZ talks about their works... Its put me in my semi-depression state as to my uncertain future. If people asked me what I do for living, should I say I "was" a Consultant? or.. I'm not working at this moment? hahaha.. maybe I should ask around here if they are hiring? working in a resort will be like they paying me to have an holiday? nice huh?

Ok. thats all fro now. have a bless weekend!

Its raining here this morning... But that ain't stoping us from having fun!!!

Weekend in Penang!

What good in Penang?

Thats the most repeated question this week asked by my cousin Jennifer before and after I went to Penang on the weekend. And I didn't answer the last couple of question as if... I didn't hear them. I am not the most patient person when I face this kinda of "interrogation". Probably I'll be the first to be "break" if I were in that kind of situation. I tempted to tell her.. how I spent an afternoon in a place where people went stark naked shamelessly. Well.. those people are just the same sex! hahaha... feels like I was in Japan or Korea or something.

I think, being away is what I need. Away from my "invaded" cribs.

Well, at least.. I did meet saewei at the Foodloft Nuffnang gathering. Thanks to TZ for being soo persistence for me to make contact with her! Which was the point of being there! Yeah yeah.. I know that buddy. Anyway, I trow my ego down the window, put my shameless face and walk to the girl with the red top. besides TZ threaten me to have another order!.. we had sooo much!! (chicken Lamien soup, Pizza, ais kacang). Can't take it anymore....

There were 2 girls wearing red tops that day, and I approach the one who is more approachable-lah! hahaha.. and wala! its her!! Such a great guesser! I said hi.. *no peck greeting :( *.. than, I said I'll need to go!!! hahahaha... easy in and easy out! I wish we could chat more.. but she haven't had her food. So.. being the gentlemen *ehem*.. I excuse myself with a kiss! Yes guys.. I did kiss her!.. although its not on the lips. That still count!! hehehe.. like my buddy says "its a matter of you want it or not!" right shi fu?!.

Later that day, we went for window shopping, and I end up buying underwear which is too small for myself!!.. yeah, I went to Penang, and bought myself an underwear!... for my regular brand (byford) I wear L size.. but for this new brand.. its too small for me!.. have I've grown bigger?! hahaha... now.. I have something to give away!!

In the evening.. err.. after our new experience in the hotel's jacuzzi, and sauna, We had our soo lovely classy dinner at this place called Bagan. Its soo classy, that my buddy asked me to wear something "proper".. no short lah! and we enjoyed a Jazz live band show in the same restaurant, and I had tried 10 type of cocktails (plus a nameless drink! invented by the bartender especially for me!!)..

Oh by the way, its the jacuzzi that people were stark naked!.. initially, we just wanted to try out the sauna.. but, once I saw the HUGE inviting jacuzzi, I couldn't resist not to try it!. TZ asked we go back to our room and get a swimming trunk, but I couldn't wait to get in, I persuade him to use our short instead!!!.. We were soo lucky that no one there to kick us out. But I got the surprise when I see the others doesn't wear anything!!! hahaha... Run?.. no way!.. the hot jacuzzi was really really good! me love it!

Back to the Bagan place, seriously I learn something there... who says getting drunk is fun? seriously, its not fun at all! Thanks to TZ.. I had a taste of being totally drunk and make a fool of myself. to summarize them.. according to TZ, I walk in zig zag.. and I trow out everything I drink on our toilet floor!! Poor TZ, he cleaned them up right away(thanks buddy ;p). I thought I wasn't the talkative kinda person when drunk, but I was!!! don't know what I said.. probably make a total fool of myself that night. Anyway.. I wanted to get drunk, so.. mission accomplish. And I promise myself, I will never.. never ever.. get drunk! I feels sooo sick the next day that we have to cancel our plan to jalan2 in Ipoh. I still can feel the after effect! why no one told me it'll be miserable?!!

So, thats my weekend goes! wont trade it for anything. Immanuel, TZ invited you the next trip he goes there.. which is.. in 2 weeks time. Hahaha...

Rainforest World Music Festival 2007

When I surf the internet yesterday, I bump into this site called "Prime Tour Service" which promote tours or an experience of the lifestyle people in Borneo, Sarawak. But what captured my interest was this side banner advertisement on the events called "Rainforest World Music Festival"

I heard of it before, and I saw it on telly. But never been to any of the show. What make it worst is that, the 3 years I spent in Kuching, I never even once step a foot at this place called "Culture Village". How silly huh? I could've join numerous trip that been organized many times during that 3 years right? and yet I didn't. Now, its eating up inside of me..

When: 13th - 15th July 2007
Where: Sarawak Culture Village, Kuching, Sarawak

I want to make a point that this is one of the things that "I must Do" in life. If not this year, probably, next year. How I wish I could go for this coming July! Its sounds sooo cool! workshop they organizes, the concerts till late 1am!.. for 3 nights in a row! Isn't that a blast?!!

Its good that I bump into these websites, giving me more information that I need... probably planning my "Go around the world" tour with a stop at my own state? No better place like home... So for you who can make it, the ticket is only RM200 for that 3 days passes! and they have scheduled pick-up couch from selected hotels/resorts or an Inn. very convenient! For more info, log in to this website: Rainforest World Musical Festival 2007 or click on any of the images.

53 hours in Penang

Yes my friends... I did make the trip to Penang! Whooa! I bought my midnight bus ticket right after work that Wednesday at Pudu Bus Station, than went straight to my friend's house to help him with the house moving. Than, heading straight again to Pudu Station right on time to catch my bus to Penang. I was told that it takes 5 hours to get to Penang, but by 4.15am, we were already reach the destination. TZ pick me up from the station around 5.10am and we head straight to Kristal Suites, where he's staying. I took a short nap and wake up again at 7am to have Penang style breakfast, the Char Kuey Teow and Chee Chung Fun. After that amazing breakfast, here's the list that we did;

1. Went up the Bendera Hill by super slow moving train. Loves this place.. very nice cold wind
2. visit the Penang famous and big buddish temple The Lok Gate Temple (not sure about the name).
3. Had 2 bowl of Penang Laksa for Lunch! Its super cheap and super delicious!
4. went around (as in one circle) Penang Island by car.
5. Stop by at a beach on the way.. cant remember what the place called, but we saw only indian. I called it Indian Beach. lol.
6. went up the hill to a fruits garden. we had fresh fruit juice and fruits rojak..yummy!
7. Stop at Feringi beach for a stroll. And stop at a sport shop and bought a shirt.
8. We had Baba & Nyonya style diner at this home style kinda restaurant.. cant remember the place called.

Thats the activities for that day, we went straight back in time to watch the Kyle XY tv series on TV3.

On the Second day, we decide to take the historical trail of the Penang City. We started of at the Fort Cornwell. Than, we visits all the other "historical" buildings.. like the St. Xavier Church, but sadly, It was closed. And the only place we can enter is the Temples! lol.. since TZ is a buddish, he explain to me all about it just like a tour guide. Hehehehe.. For lunch, we had Beef noodle soup. yummy!

There were lots of building that we went, and I can't remember any of their names now. I have it in the brochure at home thou.. hehehe... oh, one place I can't forget is the Peranakan Mansion. which the entry fees is RM10. Whats in there? stuff.. old stuff about the Baba and Nyonya. Its sort of boring stuff, with all this table wear/dishes for different occasion. There's even table wear during funeral! There were lots of chairs and dining table too. I guest these people eat all the time and sits all the time! lol... just joking k.. no hard feeling?

After we've end our Penang historical trail, we than decide to have a nice cold beer! Thank God for that... its was really hot, I saw TZ had sunburn, which he claim to be his new sun tan! We had our nice cold beer at TGI Friday in the Queensbay Mall. Later, we take a dip in the hotel's swimming pool where we spotted 2 young laddies were peeping on us from their hotel window! hahaha. Seriously... My body is irresistible! hahahahaha... its was soo funny, that we play along with the game.

After an hour soaking in the swimming pool, we decide to see the night life in the city! I had chicken and TZ had seafood for diner. To swallow it down, we had 3 jug of beer!! As to avoid being cough for DUI!, we went back to the hotel earlier as the night life in Penang City is just begin. We decide to checkout the bars around the hotel area that we dont need to drive. There were Feningan, and Bailey bar... but looks very empty that time. So, decide to go for this all Chinese speaking bar. We had a live performance by 4 young Chinese boys and girls. I was enjoying myself even thou I don't understand any of it. But one thing I notice that, one of the girl who was performing staring straight at me (or it was just in my under influence state mind) and dance seductively! TZ and I play along by imitated her dancing moves. We than went to bed at 3am!

By the time I woke up, we were freaking late that we just had to share the shower! taking turn showering, soaping, and brushing teeth! I didn't even have time to pack, just stuff everything without folding it in my bag. TZ was laughing his head out. Before we leave, TZ took one last time pleading for me to stay another day! how nice of him. but have to decline coz I need to be back in time for my "internship" training in the praise team. We were right on time, but the bus didn't move until 9.30am! How that 30 minute could be use for another one last Penang breakfast? instead of in the bus.

Well, thats it for my 53 hours time in Penang! sorry no pictures, coz I didnt bring camere!

Dalantau: Could Jesus Return at Any Moment? Luke 21:5-36

Post title Ramdom though
refers... and Dalantau's post title, Could Jesus return at any Moment?

I am very thankful for the existence of blogs and friends like dalantau. As I had the liberty to write whats in my head on the blog (include the silliest things) as I wont be able to speak them out freely all the time. Reading from dalatau's post on the last sermon was really helpful for me to put all the pieces of the message together. I thought I didn't listen, and feels guilty of it. But when I read from dalantau's post. I have this images in my head, like a flashback of the last sermon. You know, if its in a movie, we can see a flash back clearly as it just happened. I guess, I have to organize my hard drive for me to retrieve any files that I'm looking for. Just like dalantau.

The advice and suggestions that he presented are really practical. I should try it and apply them in my daily life. Alas nothing definitely change! Which Randy would say... "something so wrong about it". Now, you would ask, who is Randy? right? he was a member of our church, and an invited speaker for one of our CSI gathering. And somehow, what he said that day stick in my head. About it is ok being where you are right now, but not if you're still at the same spot in the future. I know I cant convey the massage as the original successfully, but I just "get it". If you know what I mean.

On other note, I successfully finished 2 satisfying class last night. I was practically wet from top to bottom with my own sweat. And the feeling is soo good! its totally insane.. I know. I am not very much a sport person back in school, even during my Uni. If I've known this great satisfying feeling over a good workout, I should have done it earlier. Well, better late than never right?

Guess what? Since it is holiday on Thursday, I purposely take the Friday off too! That means, I'll be having a long weekend right? Hehehe... I love holiday! And the funny part is, I ain't staying home! I'm going to Penang! Well, I'm planning to. that is, if there's bus ticket available for tonight. This "unplanned" trip just occurs last night. A gym buddy (TZ) who is stationed there for a month invited me to visit him during his stay there. And when I told him I'll be having this long weekend, He asked me to come down.. He had this long list of what we can do there. jungle tracking, botanical garden, beaches... the list goes on and on that it sounds soo good, I agreed on the spot! Crazy ay? Hehehehe... I don't care no more. I want to be spontaneous... I just hope everything work out. If not... that mean I be carrying my overnight back home tonight! Well, the plan is that, my trip will end on Saturday as I need to be back for my 'internship' program at church. And Our friend from Norway who went for a holiday in Langkawi will be back on that Saturday too! Well, I just hope the 2 days in Penang will be satisfying enough.
